sad to report that our pc is still down.....went kaput on us on thursday and is currently in the shop for repairs.....needless to say that asher and i are both going bonkers!!! so i'm sneaking in here on my school's computer to catch up on all of YOUR posts! blessings....

not me monday.....

i had to take a long, nerve-racking, traffic infested

road trip with my friend down to detroit today

to retreive her broken down car. sooooo...

i DID NOT eat a 'cookie dough' pop tart
and 'combos' for lunch in the
car as we headed down there.....
wasn't me.....i eat right!

i DID NOT momentarily loose my
CHRISTIANITY
and goooo off on this
incredibly rude parking lot lady
who wouldn't lift one finger to
help us get my friends car out
of the garage!
not me mister, i'm a humble, gentle soul!

i DID NOT come home and see
perfectly ripened bananas on the counter
and have a smoothie for dinner...
why would i do that?

and finally....

i DID NOT buy my son some new "Pez's"
for his collection, for his birthday thursday,
and give them to him ahead of time....again!
nope, i can resist his precious face all day!

working with the weather....

our day started with this......

confusing weather reports followed by

ever changing mixes of clouds, then rain,

then sun, and back again....

causing us to cancel a much anticipated

group swim/playdate with many

of our friends.

so we did what we could....

we played outside during the gaps,
even around the puddles...

it works best if you just
lay right on down in em'....

mom felt creative and joined in....

we headed over to the rocks....

and gave them some color too...

hopped on the bike for a sec...

and in the end, just one questioned

still remained...

is he a 'mini homeboy'

or are his pants just too big???
